You have just been appointed as the new Business Manager of an international holding company. Your boss has given you a budget of $1,000,000 for one of the biggest projects ever; to build a brand new business on a large piece of land in the Republic of Samicke.

Your goal is to develop the facilities required to run your business and to keep your business running for the foreseeable future.

There are some things that all businesses need, such as power, water and waste treatment. None of these facilities exist currently in Samicke, which means that you will have to make sure they are available. There are other elements which you don’t need but which might help you become even more successful. All of your choices will effect your budget and will affect your rating as a successful manager so choose wisely!

You will be evaluated over three specific time periods and by different stakeholders. The opinions of other employees, the Government and the residents of Samicke among others will all count so make sure you pay attention to the impact of your business on the environment, and society along with your profitability.
